Sewing with Whimsy

Easy sewing patterns make sewing fun again for me. I love creating something for my daughter when I can get it done in one day or two. I have discovered a new pattern company, Whimsy Couture Sewing Patterns, and their patterns are adorable, fun, modern and easy! The best part is the more you spend with them, the more you save!

Here is an example of their romper that I made for my daughter. I made a matching hairbow, and I used the elastic option so she can wear it to school and take it off and on by herself. I added a removable bow on one shoulder for a cute look, and I did not use the leg narrowing option. I personally like it better with the fuller legs.

I also plan on making her one of these for the winter out of a light weight corduroy. 

 

The options for this outfit are near endless, you can add a belt or sash too. Now she wants me to make her a pair out of Hello Kitty fabric with pink satin ribbon so she can wear them as pajamas. I think it's a cute idea!
